Antonina is a piece I composed to be performed by the En Masse Orchestra at the 2010 convention of the Classical Mandolin Society of America, held in Seattle, Washington. I was honored to be chosen as the Composer in Residence for that convention and I, in turn, titled the piece in honor of Antonina (Toni) Nigrelli, one of the founders of the CMSA. A number of groups have adopted the piece since then and there is a particularly fine recording available by the Gravenstein Mandolin Ensemble on their Mandolin Mandala CD.
Please feel free to print as many copies of the score and parts as necessary for the use of your group. My hope is that you will enjoy playing this music and that you will convey that enjoyment to your audiences.
As you can see I am presenting this sheet music under a Creative Commons License. My intention is to make it clear that you can use the written music for any non-commercial purpose as long as proper attribution is given.
